Independent Speech and Language Therapy

We offer a free telephone consultation giving you the opportunity to discuss your concerns. Following this consultation there is no obligation to use our services. 

Initial assessment appointments include discussion regarding your concerns, formal and informal assessment and feedback. A summary report with recommendations can be generated from this appointment and will be charged separately at a cost of £80 per hour (with time rounded up to the nearest half hour).

In-depth specialised assessment such as Paediatrician referral for assessment of socio-communication skills.  Assessment requirements will be discussed prior to undertaking and a fee agreed.  Associated reports, the scope of which will be discussed, will be included in the agreed fee.

Therapy sessions last up to 1 hour. This hour includes 1:1 therapy activities and feedback to parents/education staff. Time used to plan therapy sessions/resources and write case notes is included.

A review of communication skills and therapy targets of a child who is already receiving support from Chatterbox East is charged at an hourly rate of £80.  Time will be rounded up to the nearest half hour.  

Detailed reports can be written on request and are charged at £80 per hour. Time will be rounded up to the nearest half hour.

Working as part of a multi professional team is an important part of education and therapy. If you would like either of us to attend a professional meeting to discuss your child's needs, this can be arranged at a cost of £80 per hour. Time will be rounded up to the nearest half hour.

Classroom observations and professional discussions can be arranged at your child's nursery or school at a cost of £80 per hour. Time will be rounded up to the nearest half hour.
